Periodic waveforms repeat over a fixed period of time.
A periodic analog waveform has a pulse width, rise time, fall time and amplitude that define it.
The amplitude is how high the pulse reaches above 0.
Both analog and digital waveforms have a leading edge (when the signal is going up) and a falling edge (going down)
